About Luther

Luther is a lovely boy who is looking for a family to call his own. He came into care after his previous owners were no longer able to provide the care he needed, and he is now ready to find a loving home where he can settle in and thrive. Luther has a medium energy level and is a great example of a dog who enjoys getting out and about but also knows how to relax. Once he's had some exercise, attention and time to unwind, he settles very quickly and is happy to chill out with his people. His new family will need to commit to daily walks and continue helping him build his confidence and good manners on lead. Luther will do best with owners who are confident handling a dog on lead and are happy to provide the consistent guidance and encouragement he needs to develop positive walking habits. Luther is house trained and has previously lived indoors with his family, including sleeping inside at night. He has also lived with young children, so he may be suitable for a family with dog-savvy children aged 8 years and over. Luther may be able to live with a well-matched female dog, subject to a suitable introduction. Luther is not suitable to living with cats. With the right family, plenty of love, daily exercise and some continued guidance, Luther has all the makings of a wonderful companion. He is looking for people who will give him the time, patience and consistency he deserves, while helping him become the very best version of himself.
