Berkshire Park, NSW Meet Lottle Lottle is the perfect mix of everything people love about Staffies. She’s clever, affectionate, wildly enthusiastic about life, and always ready for whatever adventure comes next. Whether it’s training sessions, outdoor exploring, playtime, or curling up for cuddles afterwards, Lottle throws her whole heart into everything she does. When meeting new people, Lottle can be a little too enthusiastic — if given the chance, she’s fully capable of launching herself up to head height to deliver kisses! But once the initial excitement settles and she gets to know you, her softer, deeply connected side quickly shines through. Lottle is incredibly smart and thrives on training. She learns quickly, loves engagement, and already knows a bunch of impressive tricks. She walks beautifully on lead, and her recall continues to improve every day. She would flourish in a home that enjoys ongoing training and can provide outlets for both her intelligence and energy. Underneath all that drive and enthusiasm is an incredibly loving girl. Lottle is a professional cuddler, generous with kisses, and happiest when she’s physically close to her humans. Her signature move is wedging herself between your legs and staring up at you adoringly. She is crate trained, non-destructive in the home, and currently showing minimal signs of separation anxiety. Lottle’s Ideal Home: Lottle would prefer a home where someone is around more often than not, as she loves being with her people and will try her best to follow you out the door when you leave. However, she is able to settle when left alone, providing she is somewhere safe and secure. Lottle doesn’t need an incredibly active home, but she does need one that will keep that very clever Staffy brain busy. She is frighteningly smart and thrives on training, problem solving, enrichment and being included in daily life. She enjoys getting out for walks and adventures, but mental stimulation is just as important, if not more important, than simply trying to physically tire her out. At home, she has a lovely off switch and is very capable of settling down and relaxing. She’ll do best with people who love the affectionate, enthusiastic and slightly ridiculous Staffy personality and are willing to give her consistency, boundaries and plenty to think about. Energy Level: Lottle enjoys an active routine and will need regular exercise, play, and mental stimulation to stay fulfilled. She especially loves opportunities to run and would be best suited to a home with a secure yard. Once her needs have been met, she settles beautifully and is more than happy relaxing on her bed, watching the world go by. Children: Due to her excitement levels and tendency to jump up, Lottle is not suited to a home with children. Dogs & Cats: Lottle has made great progress with her social skills and has shown that she is capable of living with another suitable medium to large breed dog. She can also enjoy walks and appropriately managed social interactions with dog friends outside the home. Lottle is not suitable for a home with cats or small dogs Extra Support: Lottle has completely wormed her way into the hearts of Maggie’s rescue dog trainers, who are committed to helping her succeed in her forever home. Her adoption includes a two-month aftercare support package to help ensure a smooth and supported transition for both Lottle and her adopters.
