About Tux

Hi, I’m Tux, a handsome American Staffordshire Terrier with a big heart, a waggy tail and plenty of love to share. I’m a real people-lover who enjoys being close to my humans. I’ll happily come over for pats, treats and attention, and I may even offer you a gentle paw when I’m ready for a little extra love. I enjoy sniffing, exploring and discovering new things, especially when tasty treats are involved. Sometimes I can feel a little unsure when the world becomes busy or unfamiliar, so I appreciate having a patient person beside me. Once I reach a quieter space and have time to take everything in, I relax and my confidence begins to shine. I’m a clever young boy who responds well to positive training, encouragement and rewards. I’m curious about other dogs, but I’m not completely comfortable around them yet, so I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog and enjoy being the centre of attention. I can live with children aged six years and over and would suit a family who works average hours. My perfect days would include relaxed sniffy walks, fun training sessions, tasty treats and plenty of time spent with my favourite people.
