Hi, I’m Merida! I am an independent lady who loves to play, sleep on your bed, curl up on the lounge and have zoomies around the house. I’m a big fan of toys, especially string toys! I love to chase and catch the string. That said, I absolutely love other cats. Feline friends make me feel safe, understood, and playful. I would LOVE to have a confident kitty companion in my new home to help me build bonds and continue learning that touch and closeness aren’t so scary after all. I really thrive when I have another cat to interact with. Because I’m still learning about the world, I’ll need a family who understands cat behaviour and can introduce me to my new home slowly and gradually. Patience, consistency, and structure will help me feel secure. I would do best in a calm household without children under 12 years old, so I can settle in at my own pace and maintain a predictable routine. Give me time, gentle guidance, and a feline buddy, and you’ll see my confident, playful personality truly shine.
