All About Me and My Unique Personality: Napoleon is a very gentle and affectionate kitten. He would likely prefer to be the only kitty in the house as he soaks up all the attention. He is very cute and fluffs himself up when excited. His kitten energy can result in him doing cute little sprints across the floor. Napoleon is quite social and likes to interact, sometimes through cuddles and sometimes through frequent playtimes. He has a lot of playtime with his sister, wrestling and having fun. Napoleon is confident, adventurous, and likes to explore. He is always the first to step out and is a curious bundle of energy. Napoleon is drawn to people and likes cuddle and fall asleep on his foster carers laps. Napoleon has a cheeky personality. At times he collects his toys, does not want to share his favourite prize and struts around with his treasure, at times he has been slightly emotional about shared attention. Napo is an absolute sweetheart of a kitten, adoring cuddles and pats galore. He loves people and follows his foster carers around the house. As well as being a cuddle bug, Napo also has a playful side. He loves playing with balls, chasing toys, and wrestling with plushies. He also likes those digital cat apps and games. Napo thrives on attention and love. My Ideal Home: Napoleon’s ideal home would be a safe, secure, indoor home with lot’s of places and opportunities for interactive play. Napoleon has a luxurious long coat, meaning his ideal home would have someone to groom, bath, and trim his fur. His dense coat requires brushing 4-5 times a week to prevent knots and tangles. Because of his long coat, he will require trimming around his hindquarters and paws for his personal hygiene. Long haired cats need exercise, which could come in the form of fetch, chasing cat toys, engaged training sessions, or any other way you can get him to run, jump, stalk, or pounce. Napoleon’s ideal home would have vertical climbing spaces and areas to run and play. What is Known About My Background: Napoleon was found with his 3 siblings in Lemon Tree Passage at a young age (about 4 weeks old) and taken to an Animal Refuge. His siblings were all adopted from the refuge except from him and his sister. He and his sister were transported to a foster home soon after, which is where they are now. Napoleon was very small / young when he entered care. Less than 250grams and without his mother to care for his needs. Medical Napo has been a resilient kitten, needing more intensive support when young to get him nourished and healthy. When in foster care, Napo fractured his hind legs in 3 locations and had to undergo surgery and rehabilitation for his injury. He has maintained function in his legs and zooms around like all other young kittens. He is receiving a high quality growth formula kitten diet to promote healing. When Napoleon came into care he was tiny, underweight and needing intensive intervention. His immune system was compromised and he was not with his mother receiving all those essential antibodies needed. He came into foster care with a ‘yeast’ infection on his nose which remains under treatment. He is receiving daily topical cream / oils on his nose. Through all these perils as a young kitten, Napo has proven resilient and is determined to live a fun and adventurous life. He has been super well behaved for all his treatments, medications, creams and confinement. He has remained as friendly, positive, and playful as ever. How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Napoleon loves children and interacts positively with them. Napoleon is very snuggly, loves affection and attention. He ups his purr motor and is absolutely content. He has been in foster care with children aged 11, 13. He is compatible with other kittens and interacts well with them.
