About Diaz & Gucci
Meet Diaz and Gucci, a deeply bonded pair of siblings who are looking for a committed and compassionate forever home together. These two have grown up side by side and share a close attachment, so they will only be adopted as a pair. Diaz and Gucci are affectionate, people-oriented cats who thrive on attention. They absolutely love belly rubs and gentle scratches along the sides of their heads, often leaning in to soak up as much affection as they can get. They are also very food-motivated and will confidently let you know when it is mealtime, adding a bit of personality and charm to your daily routine. Both kittens have had a challenging start to life and require ongoing medical management. They each experience digestive issues, including consistently large, dry stools. Gucci has additional symptoms consistent with megacolon and is currently maintained on twice-daily doses of Cisapride. Both Diaz and Gucci also receive Psyllium husk mixed into their wet food to support their digestion. Their future home must be comfortable continuing this care routine and working closely with a veterinarian as needed. Physically, Diaz and Gucci are smaller than average and have a stocky build, with some munchkin-like characteristics likely linked to underlying genetic factors that have affected their growth. Gucci also has a noticeably flat chest, which results in ongoing wheezing during breathing. This condition is stable but will require monitoring and an understanding home environment. Due to their body structure and grooming limitations, both cats struggle with self-grooming and require regular coat maintenance. Keeping their fur short, typically in a lion-style clip or similar, helps maintain their hygiene and comfort. They are frequent users of the litter tray and are well accustomed to clumping litter, which helps manage their toileting needs effectively. Diaz and Gucci are not a typical adoption. They are best suited to an experienced and dedicated home that understands the responsibilities of ongoing medical care. In return, they offer genuine companionship, affection, and a unique bond that only a closely connected pair can bring. If you are prepared to provide the care, patience, and love they need, Diaz and Gucci will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and connection. Located in Acacia Gardens.
