About Mia

Mia is a gorgeous, fun-loving girl who brings the perfect mix of chaos and cuddles. One minute she’s doing full-speed zoomies like a bull in a china shop, the next she’s curled up under a blanket like a little burrito, completely content and ready for a nap. She’s affectionate, playful, and absolutely adores her people. Mia has been doing a week-on, week-off FIFO foster routine and has adjusted incredibly well. She gets so excited when her foster carers come to pick her up, knowing she’s off for a week of home life, adventures, and being completely spoilt. From trips to Bunnings, to cheeky pup cups, to wandering around exploring the property, Mia makes the most of every moment. She loves her toys, enjoys getting out and exploring, and thrives when she’s given both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Mia is a clever girl who likes to stay busy, but she also has a softer side and loves nothing more than snuggling up at the end of the day. Mia is also beautiful with children and would suit a home with kids 12+ who can enjoy her playful nature and give her plenty of attention. She is working on her socialisation and does well outside of the kennel environment, but she isn’t quite ready to share her home with another dog just yet. She may be able to have dog friends with the right introductions, but her ideal home would be as the only dog, where she can soak up all the attention. She could live with full-time workers, as long as her exercise, enrichment, and need for companionship are met. Mia is a beautiful balance of playful and affectionate, with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s ready to find a home where she can keep living her best life, adventures, cuddles, and all.
