About Rex

How doggone happy does Rex look? You would too if you were winning the beauty pageant that is part of life for both us humans and our canine friends — which this handsome boy obviously is. Sexy Rexy does have one “little” problem — at 54kg, the size of a small person, he really needs to lose some weight so he can live a long, happy and healthy life. His new family will have to resist any imploring looks he casts in their direction. “Rex thrives on human company and slept on his previous owner’s bed,” staff say, adding that they wish him good luck with trying to take up such a space in his new home. “A household without another dog would be ideal so he can lap up all the attention.” Ideally, we’d like him to go to people who have experience with his breed. Considering his impressive size, we feel Rex needs to go to a place with larger offspring. He’s not suitable for a property where he has access to wildlife.
