About cat adoption in Gympie

RSPCA Queensland's Gympie Animal Care Centre on Laurenceson Road rehomes cats and kittens as well as dogs, and the council pound shares the site. Cats listed in Gympie show first on this page, followed by cats from the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge at Tanawha.

The Gympie centre is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, and closed on Monday and Tuesday. Each cat is health checked, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated before adoption, and the fee is on its listing.

Queensland law requires cats to be microchipped. Gympie Regional Council sets its own rules for keeping cats, so check its cat ownership page before your cat comes home.
