Why Marley Needs a New Home

This is an incredibly difficult decision and certainly not one I've made lightly. Due to a significant change in my personal circumstances and plans to relocate overseas, I'm unfortunately unable to provide Marley with the long-term stability she deserves. Marley has been a wonderful companion, and this decision has absolutely nothing to do with her behaviour or temperament. She's a beautiful dog, and giving her up is genuinely heartbreaking. My priority is to find her a loving, stable home where she'll be happy, secure and well cared for for the rest of her life. I'm not looking to rush the process, and finding the right person or family is far more important to me than finding a home quickly. I'd really like to meet any potential new owners and make sure it's a good match for both them and Marley. More than anything, I just want to know she's going somewhere she'll be loved and have a wonderful life.

About Marley

Marley is a beautiful 4½-year-old Staffy–Ridgeback cross, weighing around 25 kg. She's actually a really lovely medium-sized dog, not too big or too small, and has more of a Staffy appearance than a Ridgeback. She's an incredibly gentle, affectionate and loving dog with a lovely, calm personality. She's wonderful with people, children and other dogs. She's very quiet, rarely barks, and has a sweet, sensitive nature. She loves affection and companionship but is also quite independent and perfectly happy spending time relaxing on her own. Marley is exceptionally well housetrained and is comfortable being left at home for 6–8 hours during a normal working day. She's a very settled dog around the house and doesn't require constant attention. She enjoys her daily walks and is accustomed to a morning and afternoon routine. She's a creature of habit who enjoys knowing what to expect, but I believe she'd adapt well to a new routine with a loving owner. I think Marley would be happiest in a calm, stable household where she can feel safe, loved and part of the family. She could make a wonderful companion for a retired or semi-retired person or couple, someone who works regular hours, or a quieter family with considerate children. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and could potentially enjoy having another friendly dog as a companion, although she's also perfectly happy being the only dog in the household. Marley is desexed, microchipped, up to date with her C5 vaccinations and receives monthly flea, tick and worm prevention. Above all, she's a genuinely lovely dog with a beautiful temperament who has so much love to give.
