About Packing Peanut

Camperdown, NSW Meet Packing Peanut! 🐾 Peanut is an incredibly loving, affectionate boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves a cuddle, enjoys meeting new people and is always happiest when he’s close to his human. He’s a curious little explorer who loves investigating everything around him. Peanut has recently had surgery to correct entropion, an eye condition that was affecting his vision. Now that he can see properly, he’s discovering a whole new world! Everything is exciting and interesting to him, so he’s still getting used to all the new sights and experiences. He’s a very clever boy who’s eager to please and picks things up quickly, especially when there’s food involved! He already knows how to sit and understands some basic commands. He’s very food motivated, which makes training him both fun and rewarding. Peanut is also crate trained and happily sleeps in his crate overnight. When he’s home alone, he does best with plenty of toys to keep him entertained and occupied. Despite his adventurous and inquisitive nature, Peanut is a real softie at heart. His favourite thing in the world is spending time with his human, and nothing makes him happier than curling up beside them for a cuddle at the end of the day. He’s a beautiful mix of playful, curious, affectionate and clever, and he’s going to make a wonderful companion for someone willing to give him the love and attention he deserves. His ideal home Peanut would love a home with someone who enjoys being active and will include him in their everyday adventures. He loves getting out for walks, exploring new places and having plenty of opportunities to stop and sniff everything along the way! Because he’s only recently had his eyesight corrected, he’s still getting used to all the things he can now see properly. He’ll benefit from someone patient who lets him explore at his own pace and helps him build his confidence as he discovers the world. A home with a backyard where he can play, explore and entertain himself would be ideal. He’d also be very happy with someone who works from home or spends plenty of time around the house, as he really does love being close to his human. Peanut is going to grow into a pretty big boy, so someone with experience with larger dogs would be ideal. He’s a quick learner and very eager to please, so he’ll thrive with someone who can continue teaching him new things and provide plenty of positive encouragement (and treats!). Most importantly, he’s looking for someone who will make him part of the family. Whether they’re out exploring together or curled up on the couch at the end of the day, he’ll be happiest by their side. His energy level Peanut is a typical curious and playful puppy with plenty of energy to burn! He loves getting outside, exploring new places, sniffing absolutely everything and having a good play with his toys. He’s still discovering the world now that his eyesight has been corrected, so there’s always something new and exciting to investigate. While he loves being active, he also has a very affectionate and cuddly side. After a day of exploring and playing, there’s nothing he loves more than settling down beside his human for some quality cuddle time. He’ll be happiest with someone who can give him a good balance of daily exercise, playtime, mental stimulation and plenty of affection. His suitability to children Peanut is a very friendly and affectionate boy who loves meeting new people! As he’s still a young puppy and will grow into quite a big dog, he’d be best suited to a family with older, dog-savvy children who understand how to interact with larger dogs. He’s still learning his manners and can get excited when playing, so a family happy to continue his training and help him learn appropriate boundaries would be ideal. He hasn’t had enough experience around children yet to know exactly how he’ll go, but he has a loving nature and is always eager to please. His suitability to other cats or dogs Peanut loves meeting other dogs and is always curious to say hello and make new friends! He’s still a young puppy, so he’s continuing to learn his social skills and how to interact appropriately with other dogs. With positive introductions and a little guidance, he’s keen to keep building his confidence and making new furry friends. He hasn’t been properly tested around cats yet, so it’s not known how he’d feel about having a feline housemate. A little more about Peanut One important thing to know about Peanut is that he’s recently undergone surgery to correct entropion, a condition where the eyelids turn inward and affect the eyes. Now that his vision has improved, he’s experiencing things he may not have been able to see properly before. This means he’s still learning about the world around him and will benefit from someone patient who can help him build his confidence. He’s an incredibly loving, intelligent boy with so much potential. He’s very food motivated, learns quickly and genuinely wants to please his human. With consistent training, patience and lots of love, Peanut has all the makings of an amazing lifelong companion. ❤️
