About Bruno

Hi, I’m Bruno. At eight years old, I carry the quiet wisdom of a dog who’s learned to listen first. I love a sunlit corner, a soft bed, and a slow, scent-filled walk that lets me notice the world without rushing through it. My people say I have a gentle, steady heart. I’m a little wary of other dogs at first, and when I see one on a leash I might whine, but I respond to calm guidance from my handler and settle with time and patience. Inside, I’m a thoughtful companion with a comfortable, moderate energy. I crave daily opportunities to learn about life and try new things, even if they’re small. A routine with gentle encouragement helps me grow braver and more confident. I need a safe space with solid fencing, a place where I can relax without worrying about escapes. I don’t do well with small pets in the home, and I’d rather not share my days with cats or pocket pets. I’m happiest when I know what to expect and what’s expected of me. Who should welcome me? A home that understands dogs and can grow with me. I’m best as the only dog in the household and with children aged 12 and up, where there’s calm, predictable activity and plenty of time for slow introductions to new things. My energy matches a moderate household: not too wild, not a couch potato, just a steady rhythm of walks, naps, and quiet moments. I need an environment where my person can provide consistent guidance and patient, loving boundaries. Would you like to meet me and see if we can write a new chapter together? If you can offer daily learning, a safe space, and a soft voice, I’d love to meet you. Please come meet me or apply to adopt — we might be the perfect match, and I’m ready to begin whenever you are.
