About Kate

If there's mischief happening, you can bet Kate is either involved, supervising or responsible for starting it! This cheeky little firecracker is the most confident of her siblings and has absolutely no intention of sitting still when there's a whole world waiting to be explored. Toys? Yes please. Treats? Absolutely. Something happening that doesn't involve her? Unacceptable! Kate is curious, playful and full of beans, with a personality that's about three sizes too big for her little body. Life with Kate is unlikely to be boring, and we suspect that's exactly how she'd like it! As adorable as Kate may be, it's important to remember that puppies don't come pre-trained! Raising a happy, confident and well-mannered dog takes time, patience and consistency. Kate's new family will need to commit to toilet training, basic obedience, socialisation and teaching good manners. Enrolling in puppy preschool is highly recommended to help Kate develop important life skills and learn how to interact with people, other animals and the world around her. A secure yard with appropriate fencing, daily exercise suited to Kate's age and plenty of mental stimulation will also be important as she grows. Toys, food puzzles and enrichment are fantastic ways to keep puppy brains entertained, while positive crate training can help establish a safe, comfortable space for rest and relaxation. And don't forget, Kate is still discovering who she is! Her personality, confidence and behaviour will continue to develop as she grows. With patience, positive reinforcement and plenty of guidance, you'll be giving Kate the best possible start to life with her new family.
