Meet Barkley – Little Dog, Big Heart! Hi there, I’m Barkley, a little Chihuahua with a big personality and a very special way of looking at life. I may only have three legs, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying the little things and looking for a loving home to call my own! I’m a friendly little guy who enjoys the company of people, especially when introductions are gentle and I’m given time to feel comfortable. I can sometimes feel overwhelmed if unfamiliar people handle me too much too quickly, so I’d love a family who understands that the best friendships are built with patience, kindness, and a little space. I’d be happiest in a quiet, peaceful home with a predictable routine and low-pressure interactions. Older children aged 12 and over who can take things slowly and respect my boundaries would suit me best. I’m also a social little soul when it comes to my canine friends! Having other little dogs around has always been part of my life, so I must have a friendly canine companion to help me feel settled and happy. I’ll need secure outdoor access with solid fencing and footings to keep me safe. Indoor and outdoor access is important, so I can enjoy the comforts of home while still having opportunities to explore. I may be small, and I may have three legs, but I have so much love to give.
