Hi, I’m Chop. If you’re scrolling through hopeful profiles, you’ll notice the soft wag of my tail and a gentle warmth in my gaze. I’m four years old, a dog who carries a quiet confidence and a smile that comes easy when I’m near people I trust. The thing that makes me extra special is that I come with my best buddy—we’re a bonded pair—and we’ll thrive in a home that can welcome both of us. I’m a steady soul with a patient, attentive temperament. I like people who speak softly and give me time to settle in. I’m generally well adapted to new surroundings, and my energy sits in a comfortable middle—not a sprint, more a thoughtful stroll, followed by a nap in a sunbeam. I’d love daily opportunities to learn about life—sniffing out the world, meeting kind faces, and growing with you. I’m not suited to homes with cats, pocket pets, birds, or other small critters, and I do best with kids aged 12 and up, who can read my cues and share in calm, respectful companionship. To feel safe and happy, I’ll need a home that can provide a secure 6-foot fence with footings—I’ve learnt boundaries are important, and a sturdy enclosure keeps everyone happy. I’m a breed-savvy kind of dog who benefits from a home that understands my needs and can offer daily chances to learn and grow. Because I must go home with my bonded partner, your family should be ready to welcome two dogs sharing a life together. A home with a steady, gentle pace and plenty of patience will help me shine. If you think you can welcome me—and my buddy—into your life, I’d love to meet you. Come say hello and see if we’re the right fit for your family. Chop’s
