Meet Mishka Hi, I’m Mishka! Professional toy collector, soccer superstar, aspiring basketball pro, water enthusiast, and full-time people lover! I’m a beautiful 4-year-old German Shepherd girl with a big heart, a clever mind, and a serious love of toys. Tennis balls, squeaky toys and enrichment puzzles? I’m always ready for game day! I like to think I’m a professional soccer player — with basketball rapidly becoming my second career. My specialties include chasing, dribbling, stealing the ball and keeping my humans entertained! When I’m not busy training, I love splashing around in water. Paddling, playing or simply making a big splash — I’m happiest when I’m having fun! I do have some hip pain, so I need to keep things low-impact and take life at a gentler pace. I still love games, enrichment and adventures that keep my clever Shepherd brain busy, along with ongoing pain management to keep me comfortable. Most of all, I love my people. I’m looking for a home where I can be part of the family and enjoy plenty of human company. I need to be the only pet, as I can be reactive around other dogs and have a high prey drive. I’ll also need a secure yard and indoor access when left alone. I’m still building my confidence, so patient humans who will let me settle in at my own pace would be perfect. Because I can be sensitive around my head, I’m best suited to a home with children aged 12+ who understand and respect my boundaries.
