Meet Jersey Jersey is a lovely-tempered boy who is looking for a family who will give him the time, patience and consistency he needs to settle into his new home. Jersey is a friendly and affectionate fellow who loves spending time with his people. He enjoys cuddles, treats and plenty of playtime, and is happiest when he can relax indoors with his family. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a canine companion who is a good match for his personality and play style. Jersey is still learning that some things, like grooming and being picked up, aren’t so scary. He can be a little unsure when he thinks he is going to be lifted, so his new family will need to respect his boundaries and allow him to build confidence with handling at his own pace. He is also learning to share his favourite things, so careful management around high-value treats, toys and food will be important, particularly if he is living with another dog.
