About Pearl

Pearl is an incredibly affectionate, cuddly girl who forms strong bonds and thrives on human connection. If you’re sitting down, she’ll be right there beside you. If you’re pottering around the house, she’ll happily follow along. She just loves being in your company and included in whatever you’re doing. Pearl has a beautiful balance of playful and relaxed. She absolutely loves her toys and will happily entertain herself with a mini zoomie session before settling down for a snooze. She also enjoys her walks, particularly in quieter areas to avoid other dogs. You’ll often find her stretched out in the sunshine, completely content. She’s been lucky enough to spend time in a number of FIFO foster homes and has absolutely thrived in that environment, showing just how well she can settle into home life. She’s a cruisey, easy-going girl who is happy to go with the flow. Pearl isn’t overly keen on other dogs and would be best suited as the only pet in the home. She can build friendships, but it takes very slow introductions and a good understanding of her body language. She’s been working closely with our training team on her socialisation and has made huge progress, now even attending pack walks and paired walks with other dogs. She just needs a home that will continue setting her up for success. She would suit a home with children aged 8+ who can be involved in her care and give her the love and interaction she enjoys. Pearl has so much to offer. She’s affectionate, playful, easy to live with, and incredibly loyal to her people. It’s no surprise our volunteers have nicknamed her “Pearly Wirly Gorgeous Girly”, it suits her perfectly.
