Pumba needs patient, experienced owners who can provide a calm environment, consistent training and plenty of enrichment. His family must be willing to work at his pace. Pumba is still young and can be clingy with people he trusts. He will need his family home more often than not, especially initially. It would be highly beneficial for for him to go home with a polite and playful doggy sibling to show him the ropes and help him build confidence. If he doesn't go home with a dog his new owners will need to invest time in regular socialisation, play dates and walking buddies! Is Pumba right for your home?
