Our little chunky muscle-man! Bertie is short, sturdy and ridiculously handsome. He is the most loyal, sweet and cuddly pup. Bertie is a curious, playful little character who loves being part of the action! He’s fascinated by the kids playing on the trampoline and watches their every move with laser focus, always keen to join in on the fun. He has a cheeky, entertaining side, but underneath it all, he’s a sweet, sensitive boy who responds best to kindness and gentle reassurance. Having experienced severe starvation before being rescued, Bertie has had to learn that food will always be available. He has made wonderful progress and is continuing to build confidence around mealtimes. A patient family who understands the importance of giving him space and keeping mealtimes calm will help him continue to thrive.
