Hey I’m Samson !! Samson (aka Sammy) is a big, goofy boy with a heart just as big as he is. He’s really just a gentle sweetheart who loves being close to his people. Sammy’s favourite thing is car rides and snacking on a tasty piece of fish. His perfect day starts with a long drive to the beach. He spends the morning chasing crashing waves up and down the shore, followed by another long car ride back home where a tasty piece of fish is waiting for him to snack on. He’ll then recharge his batteries by taking a nap on the soft grass in the sunshine to be ready to finish off his day with a sunset walk and crunchy bikkies in his bowl. Samson loves pats, scratches, and brushing, and is even pretty relaxed about bath time. He already knows how to sit and has a calm, easygoing nature around the house. He’s also fully house trained. Toys don’t interest him too much, but he does have a soft spot for his stuffed animal. Sammy is a strong boy, so he’ll do best with a confident handler and a home with a secure yard. He’s naturally alert and protective of his home and will let you know if someone unfamiliar comes near the yard. He’s generally quiet around other dogs otherwise, but would do best as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the love and attention. He would suit a home with children aged 15+ who understand how to be respectful of his size. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily join you for a long walk or car ride and then relax by your side for the rest of the day, Samson might be your perfect match!
