Elly is a lovely, sensitive girl looking for a quiet, loving home where she can feel safe and build her confidence. She can be shy initially but quickly forms strong bonds with familiar people and loves gentle affection and reassurance. Elly would thrive in a calm, predictable household with 1-2 primary carers, minimal visitors and teenagers aged 16+. Fit and capable newly retired adopters may also be a wonderful match! Elly is best suited to being the only pet and will need continued support with her confidence and reactivity around other dogs with a force-free training professional. She is sensitive to busy environments, so gentle daily exercise in quiet locations, plenty of sniffing opportunities and mental enrichment will help her thrive. Elly is currently overweight and would benefit from gradually improving her fitness. She responds beautifully to reward-based training and has already made lovely progress in our care.
