About Cola
Meet Cola!🥤🫧
Cola is a curious young girl, a few months shy of 2 years old. When she first arrived at Cat Haven she was absolutely terrified - having not spent a lot of time around people in her short life on the streets, she had no idea if she could trust them.
But now, this lovely lady has been in foster care for a little under 2 months, and her quirky little personality has quickly blossomed!
First things first, she is a foodie - biscuits, creamy treats, even popcorn; she loves it all and will do just about anything for a little snack! Cola's still finding her voice, but she likes to chat with her foster parent while they're getting her food ready.
She is still a little nervous of people, but she can always recognize a comfy spot and has the makings of a major lap cat! After being hand-fed a treat, she likes to curl up and settle on a lap for a short cozy doze. She's not the biggest fan of pats, but she doesn't mind them much - so long as you have a treat in the other hand!
Cola is also currently being introduced to the resident cats in her foster home - they haven't properly met yet as the resident cats are a bit fussy with their friends, but Cola has taken it in stride and happily chirps at them through the door! Her foster carer thinks she would love a friendly feline companion or two to help her settle in her new home.
This sweet girl has already come so far in just a month and a half, and her foster carer is so excited for her to find a forever home where she can keep growing 💗
Medical Notes
Cola has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats.
Cola has a skin condition called Feline Acne or Chin Acne. It is not known what causes this skin reaction, though it is usually mild and manageable. Using stainless steel or ceramic bowls rather than plastic often assists.
Cola has a kinky tail. Cat Haven veterinarians have assessed their tail and determined that, while a little bit unique, the condition is unlikely to cause any other concerns in the future.
Cola may have been exposed to ringworm in the recent weeks. This exposure may have occurred prior to arrival at the Cat Haven or whilst being housed here. She has been thoroughly examined by the Cat Haven veterinarians.
Cola is located with her foster family in Atwell. Click Register Adoption Interest to register your interest to see if she is the purrrfect fit for your family! Please note: Clicking Register Adoption Interest does not place a "hold" on the cat, or guarantee an adoption, but is a request to meet the cat with a view to possibly adopting.
