About Draco
Hi, I'm Draco! I'm a young, curious boy who was found homeless at the end of last year. Back then, humans were pretty scary to me, so I moved into my foster home to learn what indoor life is all about. These days, I've got the hang of being a house cat - I'm great in every way... except for pats. I'm still building trust with my foster mum and not quite ready for cuddles just yet.
I'm playful, inquisitive, and very food-motivated. But more than anything, I love other cats. I currently live with three feline friends and get along wonderfully with all of them especially with my big, lazy brother Barney.
There's also a large, boisterous dog in my foster home. He's a bit much for me, so while I'm not a big fan, I could potentially live with a calm, respectful dog.
Since I likely grew up without much human contact, I'm still learning to trust. I'll happily take food from my foster mum's fingers and will even tolerate a little touch when treats are involved, but otherwise I prefer to keep my distance for now. Because of this, I'd do best in a calm, mature home without young children.
I'm looking for a patient and understanding family who will let me be myself and give me the time I need to feel safe. I may not be a lap cat right now, but with the right home, who knows what the future holds? One thing's for sure - I'll need a feline friend by my side to feel comfortable.
Medical Notes
Draco is suspected of having a condition called Juvenile Gingivitis. Many cats will grow out of this issue before approximately 2 years of age, however some will have the condition for life.
I am located with my foster family in Nollamara.
