Meet Sir Remmington the 3rd - A Distinguished Gentleman with a Working-Class Heart! Hear ye, hear ye! Introducing His Royal Fluffiness, Sir Remmington the 3rd, a handsome Border Collie with a very fancy name, a brilliant brain and an enormous amount of love to give! Now, don't let the royal title fool you. This distinguished gentleman isn't looking to spend his days lounging around the palace being waited on hand and paw. Oh no! Sir Remmington is a working breed through and through, and he likes to keep both his body and that clever little brain busy! He's an intelligent chap who already has some impressive tricks up his royal sleeves. He knows how to sit, drop and head to his mat using both verbal cues and hand signals. Clearly, this boy has been paying attention at knight school! When he's not showing off his smarts, Sir Remmington is an absolute sweetheart who adores human company. He's incredibly affectionate, actively seeks out attention and will happily lean his whole body into you for a good old-fashioned pat. And if you're up for a game of tug-of-war? Well, you've just made yourself a royal best friend! When it comes to his fellow canine subjects, Sir Remmington is generally quite sociable and happy to have a polite sniff and say hello. He may occasionally announce the arrival of distant dogs with a bark or two (someone has to keep the kingdom informed!), but he can interact comfortably with other dogs. He does prefer his canine companions to have some manners, though, and may choose to avoid those who are a little too boisterous for his liking. Now, every royal comes with a few requirements, and Sir Remmington is no exception! His ideal kingdom would be one where his humans are home more often than not. This lovely boy forms strong attachments to his people and will need someone willing to help him gradually build his independence and confidence when spending time alone. With patience, consistency and positive training, he'll have the opportunity to learn that being left on his own isn't quite so terrible after all. As a Border Collie, he'll also need a family who understands that a clever working dog requires more than just a stroll around the block. Mental enrichment, physical exercise, training and plenty of quality time with his favourite humans will be essential to keeping this royal gentleman happy. Sir Remmington the 3rd might have a name fit for a king, but underneath all that sophistication is simply a beautiful, affectionate boy who wants to be loved, understood and included in family life. So, if you've got an active lifestyle, a love for clever dogs and a vacancy in your royal household, Sir Remmington the 3rd is ready to take his rightful place by your side! Applications for the position of Royal Best Friend are now officially open!
