🐶 Meet Arnold! | 1 Year Old Bull Arab Mix Part clown, part cuddle-bug, 100% good boy in training! Looking for a dog with an infectious personality, endless energy, and a heart as big as his paws? Say hello to Arnold! At just one year old, this sweet, goofy guy is ready to find a dedicated forever family who can match his enthusiasm for life, keep up with his busy brain, and guide him through his teenage phase. 🧸 Personality & Favorite Things Arnold is a full-throttle fun lover who brings joy (and a little bit of silly chaos) wherever he goes. * The Toy Hoarder: Arnold loves his plush teddy bears and will happily fetch a tennis ball until your arm gets tired. * The Recycler: He’s an opportunistic little thief who thinks household "human toys"—like empty milk cartons or cardboard boxes—are actually high-value enrichment items designed just for him. * The Cuddle Buddy: Once he’s burned off his energy, Arnold loves nothing more than settling in for some hard-earned affection. 🎓 Training & Management Arnold is at that classic teenage stage where he’s eager to learn, but needs structure, management, and clear boundaries: * Crate Training (In Progress): Arnold is being introduced to crate training, but progress has been slow. His new family will need to commit to patient, positive crate conditioning to help him feel truly secure and settled in his space. * Indoor Management: Arnold cannot be left loose inside unsupervised just yet, as his curious nature and high energy mean he will find his own "fun" (which often involves a bit of destructive chewing!). * Obedience & Manners: He is actively working on basic manners and obedience commands, proving to be a quick learner with food and play motivation. Like many young, excited dogs, Arnold is working on not jumping up when overstimulated, which is a work-in-progress. 🏡 The Perfect Match Arnold is looking for an active, highly involved household that views training, exercise, and management as fun bonding time. Here is what his ideal home looks like: * Someone Home More Often Than Not: Due to his high social needs and containment requirements, Arnold needs a home where someone is around for a good portion of the day. * Secure Supervision & Containment: Arnold has a history of fence jumping, so he cannot be left unattended in the yard. He will need a secure yard and a family who supervises his outdoor time directly. * A Playful (but Firm!) Resident Dog: Arnold loves other dogs, but he plays hard and can occasionally miss social cues. He requires a playful dog sibling who isn’t afraid to give him a clear, confident correction to put him in his place when he gets too pushy. * Kids 12+ (or Dog-Savvy Teenagers): Due to his high energy and current tendency to jump when excited, Arnold would do best in a home without toddlers or small children who might get knocked over. * Active & Committed Owners: Arnold needs a family ready to invest time into physical exercise, mental stimulation, crate work, and structured training to help him mature into a fantastic companion. Ready to add a load of love and laughter to your home? If you have the time, the right dog, and the commitment to guide this beautiful boy into his best self, Arnold can’t wait to meet you!
