He can be strong on lead and gets excited when meeting new people, so he'll benefit from adopters who are confident handling larger dogs and committed to continuing his training. Bowie is still learning his manners, including keeping all four paws on the ground and settling calmly when excitement levels rise. Bowie is looking for a home where he can be the only dog, as he is uncomfortable around other dogs and prefers not to share his space. He would thrive with a family who can help build his independence and gently guide him away from demanding behaviours while reinforcing calm, appropriate habits. Due to his boisterous nature and tendency to become excited, Bowie would be best suited to an adult-only home, though he may be suitable for dog-savvy teenagers rather than young children.
