Meet Brax, a lively and intelligent Tenterfield Terrier with a playful spirit and a love for life's adventures. Like many terriers, Brax is full of personality and thrives when he has plenty of opportunities to learn, explore, and stay active. He is looking for an experienced home that understands the needs of his breed and is committed to helping him continue developing into a confident, well-rounded companion. Brax is highly food motivated and loves his toys, making training both enjoyable and rewarding. He has great potential and will benefit from ongoing obedience training, leash walking practice, and positive reinforcement to help him build skills and confidence. Keeping his mind engaged will be just as important as physical exercise, and he'll appreciate owners who enjoy working with their dog and celebrating his successes. While Brax is making progress, he is still building confidence, particularly when it comes to touch and handling. He will need a patient and understanding family who can allow him to move at his own pace while continuing positive socialisation with new people, environments, sounds, and experiences. For this reason, Brax is best suited to a home with older, dog-savvy teenagers aged 17 years and over rather than young children. Brax would strongly benefit from being rehomed with another suitable dog who can help provide companionship and confidence. He will require secure fencing and, due to his terrier instincts, cannot live with pocket pets or other small prey animals. For the right family, Brax will be a fun, loyal, and entertaining companion who will reward your patience and dedication with plenty of love, laughter, and terrier charm.
