Meet Pebbles, a super sweet and affectionate young girl who never misses an opportunity to make a new friend. Whether she's greeting familiar faces or charming strangers out on a walk, Pebbles is a social butterfly who genuinely enjoys being around people. She loves human company and will happily seek you out for pats, attention, and companionship throughout the day. When Pebbles first arrived at the shelter, she was quiet, easy-going, and happy to take things in her stride. As she's settled in, her fun-loving and outgoing personality has blossomed, showing off the happy, friendly dog she truly is. While she has moderate activity levels for a young Jack Russell Terrier, she's not an over-the-top whirlwind and is equally happy to relax on her beloved soft bed after a walk or some quality time with her people. Pebbles walks well on lead and is generally easy to handle, with only some mild enthusiasm at the beginning of walks before she settles nicely. She enjoys the occasional toy and game but isn't overly focused on play, preferring interaction and connection with her humans. She has been mostly house-trained in the shelter environment, though like many dogs adjusting to new routines, she has had the occasional accident. Pebbles is looking for a moderately active home that can continue her training, socialisation, and general obedience. We would recommend a dog-only household, with ongoing opportunities to socialise with other dogs out and about. She may be able to live with another dog in the future, but it would need to be a very suitable match with experienced owners who understand multi-dog dynamics. Dog-savvy children could be considered, and breed experience would be a bonus. Pebbles will also need regular bathing and ongoing care for her skin, but in return you'll gain a loving, friendly companion who is always ready to brighten your day with her sweet nature and happy personality.
