About Wolfie

Meet Wolfie! Wolfie is a sweet boy who is currently on the lookout for his forever home. While he may be hesitant at first, given time to adjust and feel safe, he transforms into a vocal boy with the sweetest chirps, purrs and happy little trills. Upon arrival, Wolfie was a very nervous boy, but in a short time, he has already made some wonderful progress with our behaviour team. What started with hiding and avoiding interaction gradually turned into accepting treats, leaning into chin scratches, giving head bunts and making biscuits. Once he realises you're someone he can trust, he becomes a completely different little cat, happily asking for attention and enjoying every bit of affection. His time in foster care has given us an even better glimpse of what Wolfie is like at home. After just a couple of days of settling in, he started seeking out affection, becoming quite the little chatterbox and even sleeping on his foster carer's bed! He's eating well, exploring more confidently and clearly enjoying having people around. Wolfie will still need a quiet, understanding home where he can take things at his own pace. Sudden changes can make him nervous, so having a safe space, a predictable routine and people who respect his boundaries will make a world of difference. His foster experience has already shown that, given a little time and patience, Wolfie has so much affection and personality to share. Wolfie is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment.
