Astrid

Introducing Astrid! Astrid has made her way to our scared cat program as she is just not coping with the stress of the shelter. You can usually find her snuggled up under a blanket or in her hidey- hole as this is where she feels safest. She would love for her new home to have spaces like this for her to chill out in and escape everyday life when it gets a little too much. While she has a shy and nervous demeanour here, we think in a home she will learn to be more confident, playful and affectionate. It's important her new home doesn't rush this or expect this of her. This sweet angel has been through a lot and simply needs to be shown love and a comfortable home. With structure, routine and consistency Astrid is going to thrive and we know there's a special someone out there for her! Astrid is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment.
