Boots

Boots has the looks of royalty and one very simple expectation: if you're nearby, you should probably be giving her pats. This stunning calico Persian is the kind of cat who makes it almost impossible to walk past without stopping to say hello. And if you do walk past? Don't be surprised if she starts headbutting to get your attention! Once she sees you, Boots wastes absolutely no time making friends. She's incredibly smoochy, confident and affectionate, with a purring motor that seems to have no off switch. Neck scratches are her absolute favourite. She'll even lower her head and follow your hand to make sure you're scratching exactly the right spot. Persians aren't an everyday sight at our shelter, and Boots is certainly making the most of her time in the spotlight. Beyond her beautiful fluffy coat and gorgeous calico colouring, she's genuinely one of those cats who makes you smile just by spending a few minutes with her. She loves attention, enjoys human company and seems to believe there's always room for one more pat. Boots has a few minor medical considerations, including mild dental changes and some skin irritation around her facial folds. One of our vets will explain these before adoption and discuss how to keep her comfortable and healthy at home. Her beautiful Persian coat will also benefit from regular grooming. If you've ever dreamed of having a fluffy little princess who absolutely adores being fussed over, Boots might just be your girl. She has a habit of convincing people to stay for one more scratch! We encourage you to come and meet Boots at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold.
