Ziggy is ready to sprinkle some stardust on her forever family. A German Shorthaired Pointer-Spaniel x, Ziggy has been with us since the end of May, arriving with a fractured right rear leg that needed a splint and regular bandage changes, so she’s been recuperating in foster care along with having hydrotherapy to help with muscle wastage. “She is a really sweet, loyal and intelligent dog,” her carer says. “She will spend a lot of time snuggled up next to you, and she loves to get under the doona and get cozy.” Sounds delightful. “Ziggy is very food motivated and smart, so training and learning new tricks has been quick and rewarding,” her carer says. We must again mention how much we value our dedicated foster carers. “She has a funny little character, and with some patience and confidence building will be a great companion.” As mentioned, her foster carer has been working on Ziggy’s training and doing a fantastic job. We’re looking for a place with a family willing to continue that training with patience and understanding. She needs to be the only dog in her new home and she isn’t suitable for a household with pet birds.
