Darling Michael — whose full name is Michael Darling — has been in our Happy Paws Happy Hearts program, reaping the rewards of time with our NDIS participants. “He is gentle, curious, clever, polite, friendly, funny, can be a bit cheeky, and has the most beautiful smile,” they say. “He is so happy to see people that he does a whole butt wiggle.” This whole thing is such a win-win situation it’s making our eyes water. He’s a Bloodhound-Beagle x. “Michael would really benefit and excel in scent work training, and a home with someone who is interested in engaging him with lots of enrichment,” staff say. “He is a very smart boy who likes working out puzzles and busy boxes. He likes doing agility, standing on top of the ramp and going through tunnels. He’s also good at standing on balance balls. Is there anything this dog cannot do? “He is a good balance of fun and chilled — he loves sunbaking in the yards and can often be seen lying in the sun, completely relaxed. He enjoys playing with a doggy friend and sunbathing together in the yard.” Mike is not suited for a home with small pets.
