PUPDATE 12.40pm 13/10: We have plenty of interest in Cuddlepie so we have closed off enquiries about her! Cuddlepie by name, cuddlepie by nature! This darling girl definitely lives up to her moniker. She’s the last of our “promise pups” — a litter of Mastiff-Rottweiler x kids whose mum needed an emergency C-section at our Hobart Home. That was a big day with all hands on deck. They fulfilled our promise to always be there, for every dog. Her eight siblings have gone to new homes and now it’s time for Cuddlepie to find her forever family. She had surgery to correct a hooded vulva: a condition that can cause serious complications in a female dog’s plumbing department. She’s been recovering with the help of antibiotics in foster care and has now been with us for four and a half months. “Cuddlepie has grown rapidly but like her name she loves a cuddle and enjoys the company of other dogs,” her carer says. “She is house trained, knows how to use a dog door and walks well on a lead. She will grow into a large, not overly energetic sook, who will be happy to just lie around and cuddle.” “Cuddlepie has had a few changes while in our care, from foster homes being swapped and regular vet checks, and she has taken it all in with confidence and excelled with each change,” staff say. “We are looking for a home where she can continue to grow and become the best dog she can with a family who will continue to train and support her.” ** Please note that we are no longer taking expressions of interest for Cuddlepie. ** - updated 11am 13.10.26
