Travis looks like he’s taking deadly serious to hitherto unexperienced levels. Mind you, with all that eyeliner, he’s probably just doing an excellent job of trying to look like a goth. He’s a Beagle-Hound x who was a stray, so we don’t know anything about his background or why he looks so dour. In reality, he’s playful fellow who staff describe as being anything but. “Travis is jumpy and excitable,” staff say. “He loves his treats and using his nose to find them.” This is good news as reward-based training will be the fastest way to both his heart and mind. “He’ll need an owner who is willing to work on his excitable behaviours,” staff say, which is why we brought up the training thang. “He may enjoy having a doggy friend to play with.” As always, we advise well-considered matchmaking that accounts for play style and energy levels, combined with gentle introductions.
