About Saxton

Having a bad day? Just look at Saxton for a while and we guarantee you’ll be feeling happier in no time! Isn’t he glorious? This utterly delightful creature comes with our favourite stipulation: “Saxton needs to go to a home with a second dog for company and socialisation,” staff say. “He loves human company and enjoys playing with toys. He needs a quiet, calm household with a predictable environment.” Dogs do thrive on routine. He knows a range of basic commands and also shakes paws. Saxy does need some training about getting his enthusiasm for people under control. Until he gets that training on board, we feel he’d be best suited to a household where the kids all have a “teen” in their age. He’s not suitable for a home with small animals such as cats, rabbits and birds.
