Storm

About Storm

Storm is a force of nature — but there’s nothing particularly stormy about this girl. She’s a Boxer-Hound-Ridgeback x whose foster care notes speak volumes. “Storm is a beautiful, gentle-hearted dog who has come such a long way in foster care,” her carer says. “With consistency, routine and positive reinforcement, she has learnt so much.” Her carer has been working hard on her training, which reminds us that not all heroes wear capes. “She absolutely loves being around other dogs and enjoys their company,” her carer says. “I think she would really benefit from living with a confident older dog who could help show her the ropes and continue reinforcing good manners. She learns well from both people and other dogs.” Storm will need a place where someone is home more often than not. She can be boisterous — she will need ongoing training, and until she gets that training on board, she’s not suitable for a household with young kids or elderly folk. She'll need a place with secure suburban fencing rather than floopy ol' wire farm fences. She also needs a place with no cats or poultry.
