Do you like semi-aquatic animals? Would you like to own one? Hazza completely fits that (duck) bill. “Hazza is a lovely Labrador-Golden Retriever x, but he seems to prefer to think of himself as an otter,” staff say. “He loves being in the water!” His gallery proves this, and you could say he’s otterly overjoyed. “Hazza loves a snuggle — he likes to greet people by standing on his hind legs, paws on you and head against your chest, looking up at you with a loving sparkle in his eye.” We’re not crying, you are. “He’s a very social boy who is happiest when he has company and a predictable routine. He would be well suited to a human homebody, or a home with a gentle dog friend. “He is a strong and energetic young dog, and his humans will need to be prepared to meet his energy needs. He would thrive with ongoing mental enrichment and training.” Hazza needs to go to a home where the kids are at least 12 years old. Hazza came into our care with the name Azrael, which he is familiar with, and we are using that name while he is with us. However, we have chosen to use Hazza for marketing and adoption purposes to avoid any unintended offence given the name’s religious significance.
