Nellie

Nellie is a beautiful tabby and white girl with a gentle nature and a sweet personality. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, she warms up quickly once she feels safe and secure. With a little patience, Nellie soon reveals herself to be a friendly and affectionate companion who enjoys being near her people and part of the household. Nellie would thrive in a calm and loving home where she can settle in at her own pace. She enjoys company and likes to spend her time close to her family, whether that's relaxing nearby or quietly keeping you company throughout the day. Nellie has also spent time with children in foster care and may be suited to a home with respectful children who can understand her need for space and allow her time to adjust. Nellie has a pale nose, which is more prone to developing sunburn and skin cancers. To help protect her skin, we recommend keeping her indoors and avoiding direct sunlight between 10am and 3pm. Cat-friendly sunscreen is available if required; however, human sunscreen should never be used on cats, as it can be toxic and make them very unwell. Nellie also has some specific litter preferences. She is most comfortable using paper litter and a large litter tray, and we recommend continuing to provide these in her new home to help her feel comfortable and maintain good litter habits. Nellie has undergone dental surgery due to dental disease and now has five teeth remaining. She has recovered well and is eating comfortably. We recommend feeding a primarily wet-food diet, although a small amount of dry food is acceptable for her remaining teeth. With an appropriate diet and ongoing good health, she may not require further dental treatment, but annual veterinary dental checks are recommended to monitor her oral health. Nellie is a lovely girl who is looking for a family that will give her the time, understanding, and companionship she deserves. In return, she will reward you with quiet affection and loyal companionship. Nellie is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained.
