Meet Venus, a sweet girl who can be quite nervous when first meeting new people and experiencing unfamiliar situations. She will need a patient and understanding family who is happy to give her the time and space she needs to settle in and build confidence at her own pace. Once Venus becomes familiar with you and her surroundings, a much more excited and affectionate side starts to shine through. She loves forming bonds with her people and can be wonderfully affectionate once she feels safe and comfortable. Venus would prefer to be the only dog in the home, where she can have her own space and receive plenty of attention from her people. A calm, predictable home with patient owners who understand that trust takes time would be the perfect match for this lovely girl. With time, consistency and plenty of positive experiences, Venus has the potential to become a wonderful and loving companion.
