Hi, I'm Uncle Travis - every family needs a fun uncle, and I'm here to fill the position. My qualifications include questionable manners, getting overexcited at gatherings and contributing absolutely nothing towards the bills. I can be a little nervous when meeting new people, so give me time to settle in before expecting peak uncle behaviour. Think of me as the uncle who arrives quietly at the barbecue, then ends up getting far too competitive at backyard cricket. Once I'm comfortable, I can get quite boisterous. I'll need a family who can help me practise calm greetings and remind me that "Uncle Travis is here!" doesn't need to be a full-body announcement. Underneath the big uncle energy is a boy who needs patience, gentle introductions and guidance as his confidence grows.
