Lucy is a 15 month old, Rotty/Lab/Bitsa this and that, ultimate sweet girl. She only a medium size girl, although quite solid in build. Lucy came into care alone, frightened and with 9 newborn puppies to love and protect. We didn’t know much about her but we were determined to help her feel safe and secure whilst she raised her babies. Her delightful puppies are now 8 weeks old and we’ve learnt a lot about Lucy over that time. She is sweet, smart, loyal, affectionate and loves to please. Lucy is a well balanced family dog, she is 99% house trained, good with other dogs, enjoys the company of cats - although sometimes forget her size when they’re playing, she’s the ultimate couch potato, snuggler and does the fastest bounciest zoomies you’ve ever seen and to top it off she’s even got basic obedience - sit, stay and shake. Lucy is crate trained and happy to be left home alone. She is good with kids (young twins and an 8yo). Lucy can be a little anxious around men to begin with, but nothing some duck jerky and lots of “you're such a good girl Lucy” can’t sort out. *Not good around poultry, they’re a tad too flappy and fun* Lucy is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fees are to be paid in full when dog is collected for their trial. If for any reason the trial doesn't work out, the dog can be returned and your adoption fee will be refunded less the administration fee (specified on adoption contract, varies per dog). Adoption fees are only returned via bank transfer.
