About Ruby

Ruby is a sweet older lady who loves spending time with her people and enjoying the simple things in life! She's all about taking life at her own pace, whether that's enjoying a leisurely sniffy walk, stopping to smell the roses or curling up for a well-deserved nap. This lovely lady has been enjoying life in foster care and has proven to be a wonderful houseguest! She's fully toilet trained, walks nicely on lead and travels well in the car, making her a lovely companion for relaxed outings. She's also quite content spending time on her own, so she doesn't mind if her humans need to head out for the day. Ruby isn't one for big adventures or long daily walks. She's much happier with gentle strolls, plenty of sniffing opportunities and a comfy spot to snooze. Toys aren't really her thing, but she makes up for it with plenty of affection and loves giving her favourite people kisses! She can still jump up onto the couch or bed for a cuddle, although she may need a helping hand getting into the car. Ruby can be a little picky with her food and is looking for a family who can support her on her weight-loss journey with a balanced diet, gentle exercise and plenty of encouragement.
