About Amy

Amy is a sweet, gentle-natured girl whose start to life was uncertain. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was timid, unsure and understandably overwhelmed by the world around her. With patience, time and lots of love from her carers, Amy has slowly blossomed into a beautiful little soul. While she is still unsure of the big wide world, Amy has made wonderful progress and is beginning to discover that life can be a safe and happy place. She is not the kind of dog who is looking for big adventures or long walks - Amy much prefers the comfort and security of home. She would be more than happy pottering around the garden, being your little shadow, enjoying plenty of love and spending time playing with her canine companion. Amy must go home with another confident, friendly dog, as having a canine friend by her side is where she finds much of her confidence and security. Her new family will need to be patient, understanding and willing to let Amy settle into life at her own pace. She is looking for an experienced owner who understands sensitive dogs and can give her the reassurance, routine and gentle encouragement she needs. Amy is the perfect house dog for someone who appreciates the quieter things in life. She may not be your adventure buddy, but she could be the sweetest companion for relaxing at home, enjoying the garden and watching the world go by from somewhere safe.
