About Bella
Meet this beautiful senior lady, who is looking for a very special person to spend her golden years with!
At almost 12 years young, this lovely girl has spent most of her life in the comfort of a home, so finding herself in a shelter has been quite an overwhelming change. She's still adjusting to her new surroundings and can be nervous and unsure, particularly when it comes to unfamiliar people and interactions.
What this gorgeous girl needs most is a quiet, patient and understanding person who is willing to take the time to earn her trust. She's not the kind of cat who will immediately come running for cuddles, but with gentle encouragement and the opportunity to build a relationship at her own pace, she has shown that she can enjoy affection. Once she feels comfortable, she'll lean into gentle pats and even lift her chin to ask for more!
She can be a little sensitive to handling and isn't afraid to let you know when she's had enough, so her ideal person will be someone who is confident reading feline body language, respects her boundaries and understands the importance of allowing trust to develop naturally.
A quiet, predictable home with minimal noise and activity is essential for this lovely lady. She would be best suited to an experienced cat owner who doesn't expect too much from her too soon and is happy to give her the space, reassurance and consistency she needs to feel safe.
After spending so many years in a loving home, she deserves the chance to feel safe and settled once again. She's looking for someone who will love her for who she is, celebrate the little milestones and give her all the time she needs to blossom.
Could you be the special person to give this beautiful girl the peaceful retirement she deserves?
