About Shelby

If you're looking for a dog who will love you with her whole heart, then Shelby might just be the one you've been waiting for. Shelby is the kind of girl who makes a house feel like home. She absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to be by your side through every part of the day. Whether you're working from home, watching TV, or pottering around the house, Shelby will be right there with you, happily following along like your little shadow. Despite not being quite so little, Shelby is convinced she's a lap dog! She loves climbing up for cuddles and will happily snuggle into your lap whenever given the chance. Affectionate, loyal, and full of love, she's the perfect companion for someone looking for a true best friend. Shelby is also a clever cookie. Being highly food-motivated, she's eager to learn and has already worked out her Kong Wobbler with ease. She's mastered sitting politely for treats and is proving to be a very smart girl who enjoys learning new things. Her toilet training is progressing beautifully, and she's doing wonderfully with her crate training, often sleeping through the night in her crate. She gets along brilliantly with her foster family's dogs and loves a good play session before settling down for some quality cuddle time. When meeting new people, Shelby can be a little enthusiastic at first, but that's only because she's so excited to make a new friend. Once she's said hello, she settles quickly and charms everyone she meets. Shelby has the sweetest nature, a heart full of love, and so much devotion to give. She's the type of dog who doesn't just become a pet, she becomes family. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt this beautiful girl will gain a loyal companion, professional cuddler, and lifelong best friend all wrapped into one gorgeous package.
