About Marnie

Marnie is a sweet and gentle girl with a beautiful nature and plenty of love to give. She has settled wonderfully into foster care, and as her confidence continues to grow, more of her playful personality is beginning to shine through. She loves affection will happily settle in on the couch beside you for a cuddle. While she is more than happy to spend a good portion of her day relaxing and snoozing, Marnie also loves a good run and play. She has a fun, energetic side and would thrive in a home that can provide daily exercise, walks, and play. Marnie came into care as a new mum with a litter of puppies. She did a wonderful job and now that her puppies have moved on she is ready for a fresh new chapter where she can enjoy being the centre of attention. Marnie adores children and is extremely patient with them! She will happily settle herself beside them for some companionship or roll around with them on the floor having some fun. She can sometimes get a little excited when playing or saying hello, but responds well to commands to calm down. While Marnie can still be a little cautious in unfamiliar situations, and seems to be scared of water from the shower or hose, she is becoming increasingly comfortable and confident as she settles into her surroundings. She responds well to kindness, reassurance and a gentle approach, and it has been lovely watching her personality emerge. Marnie is fully toilet trained, sleeps happily inside throughout the night on her bed or the couch. She has spent a few days outside on her own while no one was home and is very well behaved - but toys and treats to keep her occupied are a good idea. It is preferred that Marnie be allowed inside with her new family when they are home. A friendly doggy companion would be a wonderful bonus, giving her someone to play with and enjoy this next part of her life.
