Meet Boy Medium-sized Male Border Collie This is beautiful Boy . Boy needs a very special forever home. He is a dog with big emotions. And who can blame him . He has already experienced multiple homes, lost important friendships, and never had the security of knowing where he truly belonged. He needs to find a family who he can trust and know that he is staying forever. Boy needs to be heard. He is deaf, but he can communicate very easily with those who will listen. When he is listened to, he flourishes. We’re looking for a family for Boy who will be patient; work with the AINB team closely and follow our guidance. Boy’s adoption will be an extended process to build trust; learn how to communicate with him and build a friendship. We love this kid and want the best for him . He is fun, intelligent and active. He enjoys enriching activities when he can make choices and solve challenges himself. Boy loves a car ride; and adores a good sniffy environment to explore. He is dog social ; but will need a calm mature dog if he was to share his home with a canine friend. He may do best as an only dog in a family who has a dog social circle where he can go on walks with four legged friends. His home should be open plan with a yard. He can get frightened in small spaces and likes to be able to move freely with space. He also enjoys his personal space – while he loves human company he’s not after cuddles. No cats , or children please. Boy is a teacher. Anyone who interacts with Boy will learn a lot about animal communication and an alternative approach to dog guardianship. AINB and our extended experts involved in Boy’s care will 100% support his journey. It’s time to find Boy his happily ever after . Location: Deception Bay
