Meet Orla – Your Gentle, Loyal Companion Orla is a 16kg medium sized clever, sensitive girl looking for a home that appreciates her unique personality and is happy to move at her pace. Her perfect home would offer secure access to both indoor and outdoor areas, allowing her to choose where she feels most comfortable. Orla is not currently a dog who will enjoy busy suburban walks or frequent outings, and she will thrive with adopters who understand that her confidence is still developing. Instead, she would enjoy a quieter lifestyle with plenty of opportunities for enrichment at home. Orla is an intelligent young dog who will benefit from ongoing training, guidance and force free training methods to build her confidence and refine her manners. She loves using her brain and would excel in activities such as scent work, puzzle games, herding-style enrichment, and other interactive challenges that keep her mentally engaged. She can be anxious when left alone and will do best with an older family (gentle/quiet teens or adults) that are able to be home more often than not. With patience, understanding, and the right support, Orla has the potential to continue growing in confidence and may one day enjoy outings to quiet open spaces such as large parks, fields, or ovals. For now, she is looking for a family that will embrace her for who she is, provide a calm environment, and help her feel safe while encouraging her to flourish.
